Neuropsychology & Complementary Medicine, P.C. (NaCMeD) is dedicated to the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of cognitive, psychiatric and health disorders for patients of all ages (toddlers through seniors) in the Rappahannock-Rapidan Region. We focus on serving the unique needs of those who reside in the counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock, and the towns of Culpeper, Gordonsville, Madison, Orange, Remington, The Plains, Warrenton and Washington, D.C.
OUR MODEL
Our unique model allows practitioners and patients to focus on comprehensive needs not just one presenting problem. You will be followed closely by our treatment team, who is communicating with your PCM/specialist, thus allowing us to provide comprehensive "wrap-around" services where our desires, needs, and concerns are addressed.
OUR CLINICIANS
NaCMed providers have a combined experience of over 25 years ranging from Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, Nursing, Mindfulness and Meditation, Psychiatry and Counseling. NaCMed was created to provide well-rounded and integrative approaches to healing; however, we only choose from empirically supported interventions in the areas of neuropsychology, neurorehabilitation, pain management, psychiatry and more.
CONDITIONS
Our practitioners are specialists in the brain and the body. We have specialized training to address how various medical, psychological, and neurological conditions affect our daily functioning such as: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, traumatic brain injuries and concussions, competency, dementia, movement disorders, sleep disorders, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, stroke, depression, pain management, post-traumatic stress disorder, bariatric and eating disorders, anxiety, adapting to medical treatments and diagnoses, and other medical/neurological conditions.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
We have practitioners who can or may be able to provide assessments in Spanish and in American Sign Language.
